Amazing B&B in a great location very central to Poole. Sue (the owner) is lovely and makes you feel right at home. There's a kitchen where you are able to make your own food and drinks too. It's very well maintained and very comfortable. Thanks Sue!
Sue is the perfect host, friendly and welcoming. Cranborne House is in a great location with beautifully decorated and very clean rooms in a wonderful building. A comfortable bed and pillow made it a fantastic stay in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. There's free car parking. Lovely pastries for self-service breakfast, at the weekend. It's a quick and easy walk from the station with beautiful sea walks, beaches, restaurants and the incredible RNLI nearby. A place you will want to return to.
What a find! We had a fantastic overnight stay before catching the early ferry to Cherbourg. The rooms were quiet, the beds were very comfortable and the facilities were superb. Susan was a very friendly, helpful and informative hostess. By far the best night’s sleep we’ve ever had before such an early start on our travels.
I recently stayed at cranborne house for two nights. It's a nice, traditional building and very well maintained. The owner Sue was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. The room is spacious and the bed comfortable. The en suite is also large with a good working shower. The house is in a good location, as it's only a 15 minute walk from Poole Quay. Items such a as bread and croissants are provided for breakfast. Considering the quality of the facilities and the location, the price was also very fair. So overall very good - I'd definitely recommend.
Excellent b and b close to Poole centre with parking outside the house. Comfortable bedroom, well equiped. Breakfast a little basic and could do with a coffee maker.
Lovely characterful elegant house, beautifully looked after. The rooms are clean and stylish. Sue is kind, thoughtful and helpful without being overbearing. There is a kitchen for guests to use with Microwave, fridge and even an airfryer! Brilliant. The centre of town, shops and station are an easy, flat, 7 mins walk maximum. Poole Park and the sea are 10 mins walk. Great Location. Would love to stay here again
Fantastic! Beautiful B&B. Stayed here for 4 nights for a family wedding. Rooms are exactly what is needed. We stayed in the family room. Double bed and a sofa bed. Our 4 year old loved the giant sofa bed. Complimentary breakfast of breads / toast and cereals. Sue (the host) was fantastic, also helped with our queries of taxi service and local tourist spots. Beautifully presented lounge / dining room. Bathroom very clean, NO black marks on any grout, obviously cleaned very often and maintained. Onsite car parking is another perfect benefit. Quiet B&B, good amenities, clean and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate booking again.
